At the heart of Fèis Ìle is our Bowmore Open Day, a moment for us to open our distillery gates and welcome you into our world.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Loch Indaal, our distillery comes alive from 11:00am with music, exceptional Bowmore whisky, and a vibrant festival atmosphere. Explore a rich and captivating mix of tastings and experiences, each designed to showcase the craftsmanship behind our whisky, while live music from Corra and Brother Sea provides a relaxed soundtrack.
Beyond the whisky, a variety of food options and activities offer plenty to enjoy. Whether you’re indulging in local flavours, taking part in curated experiences, or simply soaking in the scenery with a glass in hand, Bowmore Open Day is your chance to be fully immersed in the place we call home, where Bowmore has been crafted since 1779

Crafted exclusively to mark Fèis Ìle 2026, this limited edition from Bowmore is a celebration of time, place, and craftsmanship.
Distilled on 27 May 2016 and matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry-seasoned Spanish oak cask, this single cask release is a true expression of Bowmore’s character. Made using 100% floor-malted barley, it reflects the care and precision that define our whisky-making.
Drawn from Cask No. 3756, this rare bottling captures the richness of the cask alongside Bowmore’s signature balance; layered, complex, and deeply evocative of its island home.
Available exclusively from the distillery on our Open Day, Wednesday 27 May, this is a release created for the festival and never to be repeated, a whisky that embodies the spirit of Fèis Ìle and the essence of Bowmore.
