Ask any of the craftsmen involved in its production and they'll tell you that 17 is a particularly good age for Bowmore. By then the whisky has reached a certain maturity that has proved to be a personal favourite with the last three Distillery Managers, explaining why Bowmore 17 Years Old is known locally as "The Manager's Dram".

Like a beach bonfire this dram takes me outdoors as I inhale smoke & sea. Each time I imbibe it is as an old friend both familiar and new.
