Bowmore Captivo Collection marks the next stage in our partnership with Snarkitecture, bringing together Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky with the perspective of the New York‑based studio co-founded by Alex Mustonen and today led by him. Known for work that explores the boundaries between art, architecture, and design, Snarkitecture brings a distinct perspective to Bowmore — one rooted in curiosity, materiality and the desire to reimagine familiar forms.
Together, we are announcing a collection shaped by the concept of threshold and passage. A design philosophy inspired by Mustonen’s own journey from New York to Bowmore, expressed through portal‑like forms that invite you to step into something deeper. Each expression is a point of transition: a whisky created decades ago, revealed in the present, and experienced through a new lens.
The Captivo Collection launches with two 20‑year‑old single malts — Oak Voyage and Sherry Cask Pursuit — each shaped by intentional cask selection and the shared pursuit of discovery.
