Bowmore at London Design Festival

This September, Bowmore brings its collaborative spirit to London Design Festival, taking on the role of Day Sponsor for the Global Design Forum at the V&A.

Designing Atmospheres

This year's Global Design Forum theme, Designing Atmospheres, explores how design shapes the way we feel, interact with and understand the world — moving beyond what we see, into the sounds, materials and sensory experiences that define a space. It's a theme that sits naturally alongside Bowmore's own approach to craft: whisky shaped as much by feeling and ritual as by process.

As Day Sponsor, Bowmore guests will get the chance to experience a complimentary tasting from one of the world's most collectable single malts.

In Conversation: Captivo Collection

At the heart of Bowmore's involvement is a live conversation exploring the thinking behind the Captivo Collection — our design-led partnership with Snarkitecture.

Joining the panel are Dr Calum Fraser, Bowmore’s Chief Blender, and Alex Mustonen, co-founder of Snarkitecture in a moderated conversation exploring the bottle design, sensorial experience and rituals behind the collection - moderated by David Miles, Bowmore Senior Portfolio Brand Ambassador.

  • Session: Bowmore Whisky: Dr Calum Fraser in Conversation with Alex Mustonen.
  • Date: Sunday 13th September
  • Time: 15:00 – 15:30
  • Location: V&A, as part of Global Design Forum

Discover the Captivo Collection

Bowmore Captivo Collection marks a new partnership with Snarkitecture — a design-led exploration of Threshold and Passage, brought to life through two 20-Year-Old single malts, Oak Voyage and Sherry Cask Pursuit. Each whisky is a portal into Bowmore's legacy: created two decades ago, revealed through contemporary craft.
